Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an individualised and comprehensive approach with a strong evidence base to support it as an effective method for challenging behaviours.
Psychology
A Psychologist can assist in understanding, preventing and treating developmental, cognitive, social and emotional difficulties by understanding an individual's thought processes and actions and interpreting them to help resolve issues causing emotional or behavioural concerns.
Counselling
The benefits of speaking with a qualified counsellor can't be underestimated in any stage of a person's life. Counsellors offer independent support and are able to assist clients to negotiate through uncertainty, develop plans and to set goals benefitting clients who may feel stuck or overwhelmed with current circumstances.
Occupational Therapy
An Occupational Therapist (OT) provides support to children, young people and adults whose health or disability makes it hard for them to do the things they would like to do. Hessel Group's Occupational Therapy Services are offered in South Australia and Western Australia.
Speech Pathology
Speech Pathologists study, diagnose and treat communication disorders, including difficulties with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading, writing, social skills, stuttering and using voice.
Physiotherapy

Early Intervention Behaviour Support
Early Intensive Behavioural Support (EIBS) aims to teach and increase functional behaviours that replace harmful behaviours that interfere with an individual’s learning.

Support Coordination
Our Support Coordinators will support you in understanding and implementing the funded supports in your plan and link you to the community, mainstream and other government services.
Art Therapy
A form of psychotherapy, Art Therapy allows clients to explore thoughts, feelings and emotions while promoting self-awareness and personal growth. It can be used by people of all ages to support those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, illness or addiction.
Music Therapy
A therapeutic approach using music to address physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals. Music therapy can assist with a range of conditions including chronic pain, dementia, developmental disabilities, mental health and addiction.
