What is Counselling?
Counselling is a form of talk therapy that involves discussing personal and psychological issues with a trained professional. The aim of counselling is to help individuals explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in order to achieve greater understanding and insight into themselves, their relationships, and their life experiences. It provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to share their concerns, work through difficult situations, and develop coping strategies for managing their problems. Counsellors use a variety of techniques and approaches to help clients resolve their issues and improve their mental health and well-being.
What can a Counsellor help with?
It is common in life to experience trauma which can impact individuals to varying degrees remembering that we are all different. Counsellors do not judge. Counsellors are avid listeners who are optimistic about supporting their clients to navigate these difficult times and to find clarity and understanding to move forward.
Mostly, we do have the answers yet struggle to see them through the clouds. Therapy can help us find the positive path ahead, striving to live our best lives and become the best version of ourselves.
