Do you have a caring nature and enjoy helping other people?
Disability Support Workers assist people living with a disability to reach greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing.
Our hands-on courses teach the knowledge and skills that you will need to provide individualised care to someone living with disability in a community or residential setting. Courses range from 3 months to 12 months, depending on the level of qualification. You could be starting your brand new career within a matter of months!
A career in the Disability Support sector can be very rewarding, and this growing sector offers a variety of career pathways. Following the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the demand for quality Disability Support Workers has continued to grow.
Working with and building connection with such a diverse range of clients and workers. Also, always knowing I had support and could ask any questions or gain additional support if needed throughout the study.
