The Certificate IV in Disability gives you the experience and expertise to support people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing.
Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to be employed in a variety of home, community or residential facility based support worker positions for individuals living with a disability. We provide students opportunities for disability care jobs within Hessel Group, if eligible. Giving you greater chances of being employed if you study with us.
Further study within a university is available after completing this course.

Certificate IV in Disability CHC43121
This qualification has a total of 10 units of competency which are split up into 7 core units and 3 elective units.
Students must complete a total of 120 hours (placement) as detailed in the assessment requirements of the units competency.

Full Pricing
The full student fee without subsidies is $5,505.00, but it is priced at a special discounted rate of $3,200.00 (no subsidy).
Students can also opt for a payment plan of $350.00 per month for 10 months.

Funded Program
This course is supported by the Government of South Australia. If you're eligible for government funding support, the reduced course fee is usually $1,387.50. Enhance Training is offering an additional discount, and the course fee is now $495 or $375 for valid concession card holders.

About the course
Our Enhance Training Certificate IV in Disability CHC43121 Course is here to help you further your career in the disability support sector.
By studying with us you’ll be able to advance from your previous Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) CHC33021, or Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) CHC33015 to work with clients with or without direct supervision or even coordinate your own small team of support workers as a team leader or manager.
You will learn how to assist people living with disabilities in achieving greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation, and well-being.
Once you have completed this course, you could seek employment as a care worker, disability support coordinator, employment coordinator (Disability), or a position at a similar level in the field of disability services. Alternatively, you could use this qualification to pursue university studies.
Who is the course for?
This course is for anyone who loves their work in disability care and is looking for the next step. The disability care sector needs passionate, driven people to fill various essential roles at all levels. This course is for caring individuals who like to support others, who currently have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) CHC33021, or Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) CHC33015, or relevant equivalent industry experience and who want to progress to a more senior role in the industry.
In-house student support
You will receive great student support throughout your studies with Enhance Training where you will have your own trainer providing support, or for more individualised strategies, a Success and Wellbeing Services (SWS) coach will be assigned to you. SWS is an initiative of SkillsSA and the Government of South Australia. It supports you with study plans, flexible study delivery, after-hours support and guidance which also extends after your training is complete.

Placement
This course requires you to complete 120 hours of placement, detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency. These can be completed while you study. Through Enhance Training’s wealth of experience in the industry, we can assist you in finding appropriate placements should you need help.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
We believe your previous study and life experience can and should be counted toward your current studies. This is something referred to as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). If you have previous learning or training that could assist in your Enhance Training studies, please contact our office to discuss whether a credit transfer is possible.
What you will need
As a student of Certificate IV in Disability CHC43121, you must have completed a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) CHC33021 or Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) CHC33015.
You will also need access to internet, email, a computer and a driver’s licence.
