About the course
Safe Environments training is for people working or volunteering with children. This short course is designed to help organisations support their employees and volunteers in recognising, reporting, and responding to children or young people who may be at risk of harm.
To create safer environments for young people, complete your full-day certification or refresher course with us at our state-of-the-art facility with a Department of Human Services (DHS), South Australian Government approved facilitator.

- Risk and harm: abuse-related trauma
- Sexual abuse
- Through their eyes: disclosure
- Child-safe environments in organisations
- Reporting suspicion of risk and harm
Which training course is right for you?
Full-Day Training:
This is your first time completing the training, or if your safe environment qualification has expired.
Refresher Training:
You have previously completed the training and need to update it. The Child Safe Environments Program recommends refresher training every 3 years.
Online live training sessions
We also offer live online training sessions for refresher training (3 hours).

Due to the sensitivity of this training and the topics explored, participants are in a classroom-based setting so we can provide you with a supportive and interactive learning environment.
