We are not an agency. All of our care & support workers, babysitters and nannies are our employees. We believe that making Hessel Group a great place to work will result in better care for our clients.
Our Journey
Our journey began in 1998 when Tanya Cole, our CEO and Founder, started a nanny agency out of frustration with the lack of quality child care options at home for her two young children. She wanted to help parents by simplifying the process of finding a nanny, hence NannySA was born.
As Tanya helped more families, she began to uncover more needs and later expanded services to support as many South Australian families as possible. With the expansion came a name and branding change. Today, we are known as Hessel Group and offer a range of services including training, childcare, and allied health support.
With a team of over 300 staff, iincluding nannies, babysitters, educators, trainers, disability support workers and allied health professionals, Tanya continues to steer the organisation. In 2022 in readiness for further expansion, Brad Seaman joined Hessel Group as the Chief Strategy Officer and Director. Together, Tanya oversees Operations while Brad oversees Corporate Services.
