Gillian Elleway
Gillian Elleway
Growth & Partnerships Manager

I joined Hessel Group Training after working in the health care sector for 9 years, predominantly in Aged Care and Disability.

I found Hessel almost by accident and after meeting them, I walked away knowing I wanted to work with them. I am passionate about the social care industry and the workforce issues they face.

Hessel Group Training gives me the opportunity to help the industry I love with another recruitment stream in a highly competitive staffing environment while also helping Trainees get started on their career paths. Talk about rewarding!

My role as Growth and Partnerships Manager is all about connecting with leaders in the Aged Care, Disability, and Child Care industries to get them started on their Host Employer journey with Trainees who will ultimately become integral, long-term, skilled employees.

Call me anytime to book a catch-up and talk about what being a Host Employer can do for your business.

As a GTO Field Officer for Hessel Group Training, my role is to provide practical support to our fantastic trainees and host employers. I have over 20 years of experience in the health care sector predominantly focussed on client relations, meaning I love working with people. More recently I liaised with Residential Aged Care facilities and hospitals regarding their staffing needs and workforce solutions.

In addition to my Field Officer role, I am also furthering my studies by undertaking Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to better understand the sector.

Recruitment Development Officer

I enjoy working as a Recruitment Officer for the Hessel Group as I get to speak to new people every single day. My role in the Hessel Group Training involves finding candidates, seeking out their goals, and helping them to achieve them by matching them to the right host organisations.

It’s a great feeling to meet someone at the very beginning of their career and watching them build their confidence and skills in an industry they love.

I have been working in the recruitment industry for 3 years and, like our trainees, I am continuously learning. Currently, I am undertaking a Diploma of Human Resources Management.
