Along with our dedicated clinic rooms at our Fullarton location, we now have a new clinic space located in Welland offering a sensory space, a rehabilitation gym and private clinic rooms. About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. As a Physiotherapist at Hessel Group, you will work closely with patients to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment plans that promote healing, recovery, and optimal physical health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work within a multidisciplinary team. You will demonstrate the ability to create customised treatment plans and implement them using specific strategies for each client. You will bring empathy, patience and encouragement. You will be passionate in providing a quality service for our clients and supporting them to achieve their goals.
This position will be offered at 2 days per week, with the potential to increase your hours to 3 days overtime.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine physical conditions and limitations.
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Administer a variety of physiotherapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
- Educate patients on exercises and stretches for at-home care and prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
- Collaborate with Practitioners and clients to contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of client plans.
Essential criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current AHPRA Registration
- NDIS Worker Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid Training
- Current Drivers Licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy in patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative allied health team.
