Safe Environments for Children and Young People — Through their eyes


Children and young people have a right to be safe and protected at all times. Safe Environments training assists organisations to support their staff and volunteers to recognise, report and respond to children and young people who may be at risk of harm and build their capacity to provide child safe environments. This course is designed for anyone working or volunteering with children and young people.

Which training course is right for you?

Full Day Training:

This is the first time you are completing the training.

Refresher Training:

You have previously completed the training and you need to update it. The Child Safe Environments Program recommends refresher training every 3 years as best practice.

Due to the sensitivity of this training and the topics explored, preferred participants are in a class room based setting so we can provide you with a supportive and interactive learning environment. The face to face delivery of the Safe Environments training program is also a Department recommendation.
