About the course

Our Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care CHC50121 is designed to help you build on your existing skills as an early childhood education provider. It’s perfect for those looking to advance their careers.

With Enhance Training you’ll gain the skills to support children in achieving their developmental outcomes and extend your knowledge of the Education and Care Services, National Regulations and National Quality Standard.

Who is the course for?

If you love your work in the sector and want to expand your skill base and further support children and others working in the industry, this course is for you.

As the next step up from your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, you’ll begin designing and implementing a curriculum for children to assist in shaping them into great future adults. You’ll also be able to work in qualified roles where you may supervise other staff and volunteers.

In-house student support

You will receive great student support throughout your studies with Enhance Training, where you will have your own trainer providing support, or for more individualised strategies, a learner support service (LSS) case manager will be assigned to you. LSS is an initiative of SkillsSA and the Government of South Australia and supports you with study plans, flexible study delivery, after-hours support and guidance, which also extends after your training is complete.

If you are already working within the Early Childhood sector, your experience may count towards your placement hours.

Enhance Training's Traineeship and Placement Officer will be happy to discuss your placement options.

Why choose to study with Enhance Training?

We’re happy to acknowledge that many nationwide training organisations offer support worker courses like ours. So why is Enhance Training the right choice for your career? What’s the Enhance Training difference?

We are the industry

Enhance Training is for those who want the best education for themselves and the best results for the people they work with. We don’t just understand the early learning and childcare industries; we are in the early learning and childcare industry. Enhance Training is part of the Hessel Group, which both employs people and assists those seeking disability care, aged care, childcare services, and allied health professions.

Unlike many training providers, we are an end-to-end service. This means that through Enhance Training and the wider Hessel Group you learn, complete placement, become qualified, complete training and can even progress to positions within our wide network of Hessel Group care services.

Direct from the experts

Our teachers and trainers are in the industry too. They have direct, recent, first-hand experience in the industry so can relate to your questions and queries about the topic and demonstrate how these scenarios may play out on the job.
