Driving Industry Collaboration as a Leading Training Provider

12 July 2018 | Training

Our industry partnerships and collaborations have been setting Enhance Training apart for years. Allowing a greater depth of understanding of current industry trends, more placement opportunities, and better employment outcomes for our students.

One of our latest collaborative efforts with SACARE has seen Enhance Training named as a finalist in the 2018 South Australian Training Awards for Industry Collaboration. These awards recognise excellence in developing collaboration between employers and training organisations, that demonstrate positive impacts and sustainability for future collaboration.

We have been working with SACARE since 2017 in providing placement and job opportunities for the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support students. Our shared passion to improve the quality of disability support workers has led to the co-development of a new training program, EduCare Disability. This unique program gives participants an opportunity to receive a taster in the disability industry with employment and training pathways before committing to a full qualification. This 4 — 6 week course is perfect for anyone who is considering a career within the ever-growing disability workforce but wants to ensure that it is the right fit for them.

Sharing such similar values and above all passion, it is hardly surprising we came together with SACARE to meet the growing need for support workers that have the qualities, skills and knowledge to work well in the disability sector.

We look forward to being able to continue to bring our students great opportunities, not only in our partnership with SACARE but with all of our great industry partners!

Winners of the 2018 South Australian Training Awards will be announced in September.
